How hot is Halo 2? $100 Million in first day sales. Wow.

Let me just say that the game rocks! I did make it to work this morning, but only becuase I had to put down the controller last night because I thought my eyes would start bleeding from playing so much. Coolest trick so far? Running down the hall with two guns blazing! The blogosphere seems likes Halo 2, as well - 8146 posts!

Halo 2 goes on sale Tuesday (unless you live in the Midwest) and the reviews are starting to pour out, along with the screenshots. Obviously, this is the must have Xbox game of the year. Do I have it on pre-order? Nah, I'm hoping to get a copy from my wife when I come home on Tuesday night so I can have a "Halo 2 Only Zone", too.

Following some experimentation last night, I'm pleased to report that there is one pretty good Xbox tunnel out there, XBoxConnect.com. At first, we tried GameSpyArcade, but - for whatever reason - it was harder than it needed to be and we gave up. (Seriously, if Josh & I can't make it network in 30+ minutes, it's way too hard for your average bear.)

If you're trying to connect your Microsoft XBox to your broadband connection (cable/dsl), one of the easiest ways is to network your XBox through a router. First, it's a good idea to check to see if your router is XBox compatible.

To connect your Xbox to a router, you'll need: 3 Ethernet Cables with RJ-45 Connectors, one NAT Cable/DSL Router, Ethernet NIC for the PC. If you already have a broadband connection and a home network, then you probably have most of what you need in place. You just need to add an ethernet cable (to connect the Xbox to the router).
