Dancing with the Samburu

Dancing with the SamburuEach night, the young warriors (ages ~14-25) visit different manyattas to dance, in an effort to impress the girls of the tribe. During our visit to a manyatta near Ol Malo, I was invited to join the Samburu in a traditional courtship dance of the warriors and girls.

While I didn't know exactly what I was doing, I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am for the experience.
