With about 3 weeks until Halloween, I was at Walmart and the robotic Santa was beating a witch and a ghost over their heads with a jack-o-lantern while his elves were gobbling fistfuls of candy corn and reindeer were chasing turkeys all through a cemetery scene.

I prefer Nordstrom's philosophy – the Christmas season doesn't begin until the day after Thanksgiving – so no decorations until then!
