Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Blog

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad now has a blog with its own English, French, & Arabic translations.

Chad Evans of In The Bullpen pegs Ahmadinejad's propoganda machine:

How is it though that a man who has imprisoned people for using cell phone text messages, imprisoned bloggers, shut down sites, shut down media organizations not towing his line, imprisons, tortures and murders Iranian Democracy advocates, etc. now feels Western technology is fine to use? I suppose he drinks from the same jihad pond that his brethren in radical Islamic terrorist groups do. “We hate the West and the advancement of Western technology into Islamic lands, but we’ll use the Internet because through the Internet we can see pictures of naked women.”

Yeah, that about sums it up.

  1. "No one in this country can ever pronounce my name right. It's not that hard: Samir Na-gheen-an-a-jar. Nagheenanajar. "
    /end funny Office Space quote.

  2. Very ignorant post. In order to understand the president's post you should study world history and understand geopolitics. If you don't bother and stick with the black and white version of the world, your arguments are just some redneck talk you can sell in a bar to impress your kkk friends.

  3. Oh, John, ye of no email address from an internet cafe in Amsterdam. John, John, John, John, John… where to even begin.

Oh, I know. How about instead of just attempting (miserably) to deride Chad's argument as ignorant, how about you explain where Chad is mistaken. Yeah! That's a good place to start.

Please explain why a leader that suppresses the free speech and dissention should be afforded anything other than ridicule in a country built on freedom of speech. Why, John, why?

Is Iran's president that much more esteemed than the good people of Iran? I don't think so.

OPEN YOUR MIND and think on your own for once, "John". If people are being imprisoned by Ahmadinejad for blogging & expressing their opinions, why is it acceptable for Ahmadinejad to do it?

Start there, "John". Get your little internet cafe friends to help you formulate a reply. Until then, I'll continue to agree with Chad – Ahmadinejad is an elitist, egotistical hypocrite.

  4. I don't know. I'm kind of with John. I just don't think we understand the complicated mind of our buddy Mahmoud.

How could we? We have not figured out how to get the the 'redneckness' out of our fragile little minds to possibly comprehend anything that happens outside of our tight, controlled world order. You have to have a cool name like John and be European to truly understand world history.

And you're right, Kevin, he didn't even bother to explain how that comment was wrong but instead just assumed that since Mahmoud is not white it must have been made with some racist overtone. That takes intelligence of a high order. You, Kevin, just wouldn't be able to understand. Heh.

    I appreciate the link.
