I grew up listening to this song at Christmas time, even though I am not Italian. My mom has since lost or given away the album. Does anybody know where I can find the original? I would love to bring back the tradition!

Even as my wife and kids are taking down the tree today… they are singing Dominick the Donkey!!! Christmas is over!

I did a Google search and found this blog. Clicking the song only fired them up again!!!

My wife loves this song and plays it over and over and over and over again. She says it keeps her in touch with her Italian heritage. Not being Italian, I guess I just have to say "oh well."

I'm really tired of Dominick by now though, isn't it time for him to join Santa and Frosty up north for the year?
