Sort Tivo Now Playing List

Here's a quick and easy code that can be used on any Tivo to sort the Now Playing List.

  1. Go to the Now Playing Screen
  2. Press "Slow"
  3. Press Zero
  4. Press "Record"
  5. Press "Thumbs Up"

If done correctly in that sequence, you will get an audio response from the Tivo (a few bongs).

Next, to sort the Now Playing List, just press the number of your choice on your remote:

1 for normal
2 for expiration date
3 for alphabetical

This "hack" will remain resident until the receiver reboots.

My favorite is expiration date, because I can see what is going to be deleted first and act accordingly. Cool!!
