Coming Soon

At least one new skin is coming soon (perhaps later this morning). If you want to take part in all the fun, please be sure to reset your skin preference. If you don't like it, you can always choose a different design by here.

ACT NOW:
OK, Kev. You talked me into it. I'm clicking here to reset my skin preference.

**UPDATE**
The new skin may be a skin revision. I have a love/hate with one of them. We'll see.

**UPDATE**
The "Hello My Name Is…" skin has been updated and is now the new default. I've implemented some layers into the menuing so it should be a cleaner layout for everyone. Tested with several versions of IE, Netscape, & Moz for Windows. If you Opera users or Mac folks spot a problem, please let me know. Thanks!

  1. Blinks… where did the palm trees go… took me a while to realize I was at the right place.

Now the Hello I'm Kevin is back…lol.. I checked out the other skins. Pretty Cool!! But since I couldn't understand what language you writing it in… I came back to this one. :wink

  2. What is skin? When I first read this I thought I have come to a very strange place, these Texan nationalists have some wierd traditions!

  3. By "skin", I mean specifically the graphical design of the website. In broader terms, "skin" is being used across the internet to refer to the ability to alter the GUI of different apps to meet each individual's preference.

Some folks might like to have a design that has fewer graphics and some folks might like to see a site that takes more artistic liberties. I don't know where I fall in that.

The skins on this website are a reflection of a few of my experiences and interests. There is the default "Hello my name is" which I think is just clever. There is a "Buffett-esque" skin that reflects my passion for the islands and Jimmy Buffett music. There is a "traditional" skin that is themed to match the broader website (more than just the weblog). There is a holiday skin that has characters from the Rudolph claymation shows I grew up watching. There is an "FSU" skin that reflects my passion for the Seminoles. Rumor has it that there is also an Elisha Cuthbert skin available for this website. It's just a rumor, but if it were true, it might reflect my passion for…the show "24", of course. :grin
