A few days ago, I let you in on a secret: that RC Slocum would be fired at A&M as early as today. Well guess who was right?
For those of you who read my entire post, you'll recall that I said that the firing was steop one in a three step process to transform A&M.
- RC Slocum fired. Check.
- Nebraska AD Bill Byrne or Missouri AD Mike Alden hired as Athletic Director at Texas A&M. Expect another big announcement this week.
- Texas A&M hires Alabama Head Coach Dennis Franchione. Would you believe that this might be wrapped up with a Coach Fran hiring on/before next Monday?
