OK, so I'm a closet fan of American Idol, but I have a good reason. Our hometown girl, Kelly Clarkson, is well on her way to becoming the next American sweetheart.
Merrin and I have been blown away by her incredible voice and good looks. Better yet, she really is a "normal" 20-something Texan who'd rather go "plain" than all "dolled-up". Best of all, she's from Fort Worth.
If you haven't watched her yet, tonight should be the night you catch a peek of American Idol. It's the finals tonight on Fox.
