When I read this, I wanted to do a back flip! Now, I'm a geek - I admit that. But I'm also a lazy geek. So this Windows Tip was especially exciting to me.

Almost 1,000 hits on the webcam. "Insane" is the only word that comes to mind.

Things are coming along nicely with the Donahue Family Tree. I have decided to host it as a portal site at once it is ready. There will be forums and several tools available. Look for that to be 100% finished by the end of August, but launched sometime in the next two weeks.

I dropped 1 stroke on my handicap in golf!! For my regular partners, I am planning to add more statistical data to the golf pages. Give me a week or so as I figure it out.

HBO: The Sopranos

HBO has scheduled an encore run of the first three seasons of THE SOPRANOS back-to-back for the first time ever. Beginning Sunday, Aug. 12 (8:00-9:00PM ET), every Sunday night for 39 weeks, concluding in mid-2002. All three seasons will be presented in widescreen format, marking the first time seasons one and two have been seen in widescreen on HBO. The fourth season is scheduled to begin airing in June 2002.

I love my wife. She's the best. We had an awesome vacation together in Florida and I really hope she had as much fun being with me as I did spending time with her.

We're off for a date tonight. First one in a month or so (unless you count vacation!) We're going out for dinner and a movie. Who knows? Maybe we'll splurge and get ice cream afterwards!

This whole webcam thing is going a little overboard. We put up the "live" version on Wednesday night (I think). Since then, we've had over 350 viewers and counting! The camera is hosted on a public server (www.camarades.com) and they "list" all the public camaras. So, I guess the dogs are on their way to instant celebrity!!

I am working on allowing email notification for my log posts and Merrin's posts (yeah, right!) It should be working by the end of the week. Be on the lookout. Also, Merrin asked me today how to "write stuff on the internet", so perhaps she is planning some power posting! More later!

We've returned to Texas after a much needed trip to Florida for my brother's wedding. It was a beautiful service with a great reception. We had so much fun.

We met some really great people and already miss our new friends. Want to say "Hi!" to Mary & Andrea in NY. You guys need to load up your men and move to Texas. (The drinks are better here!!)

I will post more about the wedding soon. We are waiting to get our pictures back. I am putting together a 6-10 minute video from photos and vid made during the wedding festivities.
