Why wait for the 4th??
We put up a new webcam today. Please don't ask me, "Why?" We just did it because we can.
Itching for the 4th of July and all the fireworks? Well, get in a few early with this neat fireworks viewer. Once the show loads (very fast — even on a mo-dumb) you can select what fireworks you want to shoot. You can select the city backdrop by selecting Options and changing the city. All this and the 1812 Overture, who could ask for anything more?! Check it out: Shoot Phantom Fireworks Online!
Make sure you select "Tampa, FL" as a backdrop. Maybe Merrin & I will be able to see your fireworks from the dock o' the bay!!

Golf, Weddings, and Somesuch
Brian and Courtney's Wedding is just a few days away. (We're just one week from the bachelor party!!) We head to Tampa on Sunday for all the festivities. Can't wait to see these kids get married. They're great for one another. Congrats, Brian & Courtney.
I just realized that I forgot to enlighten you with the latest tales of golf victory. I am running 4-1 over the last five weeks vs. Keith. This past week, however, was really a battle of attrition more than anything else. We played the outstanding Creeks of Beachwood (view course). For those of you who follow golf, all you need to know is this is a new Troon Golf/Greg Norman course. The kid at the clubhouse told us that Norman shot 4 over a few months ago. We should have turned around and gone home when we heard that!
We fought through a very tough course and lived to fight another day. We had a great time and –best of all– I won! Kinda becoming a foregone conclusion, huh?

GasPriceWatch.com
I've added a new listing in my "Links" page. It's Gaspricewatch.com. This site is great because you can locate the best gas prices in your area. Most of the listings are 24-48 hours old. You can sign up as a "spotter" and earn points by submitting the prices you see at your local pumps. What a great idea!

My house from space
Do you ever get so bored that you wonder about strange things? Like, for example, what your house looks like from a space satellite? Sometimes I do and –in case your curious too– it looks like this:
Enjoy!

The greatness of the internet
I think it's fair to say that a lot of people think the internet is a gigantic timewaster. I still remember my sister-in-law 3-4 years ago saying, "I can't wait till all this dot com stuff goes away!" (I'd be remiss if I didn't say that same sister-in-law is a skilled internet user today!)
For those that still doubt the greatness of the internet, I offer up PlanetFeedback. Here's a site where you can send a complaint, compliment, suggestion, or question to any company instantly. Like many people, I don't have much time to sit down and right a good, old-fashioned compliment letter. Now, I just log on and sound off. Click here to visit PlanetFeedback.com.

Family Tree coming soon!
I've promised for years that I would get the family tree project back on track (and online!). Well, it looks like we're getting very close. I have to finish updating the current data and then we should be back on the web very soon. I hope to use some fancier tools to give everyone the ability to share their info. Keep checking back. It will be finished in the next few days.
Happy Father's Day, Dad!

Golf Scores/Handicaps Updated
This story is getting old. Another week, another tail kicking in golf. OOPS! Sorry, just ignore all this talk about golf. I'm sure no one is interested in who won or who lost. So, I'm just going to spare everyone the details. OK? If you just have to know all the details, you could click the more link, but –really– are you that interested??
The new handicaps are here.

The job move
As many of you know, I accepted a promotion to AREA DIRECTOR OF SALES. This took place sometime in April. I will oversee our Las Colinas/Irving sales teams. Several of you know that I have been shuttling back & forth between Ft. Worth and Las Colinas in the meantime.
Well, no more. Effective Monday, I will be officing out of Las Colinas full time. I can't wait!! We have a great team led by a very talented Area Sales Manager. I'm so excited. The gang in Fort Worth gave me a going away card & gift. It was really special. They are like a family to me.
I am grateful for the guideance (and needed *sskickings) provided by my former Regional VP, Janelle. I've never met a lady so exceptionally talented. I couln't have asked for a better mentor (only more time to learn from her!) I also am very grateful for the support of my former District Director, Stacey. She is a really good friend and has been looking out for me. I'm lucky to have her on my side. She's the best!
Thanks to everyone for your cards and emails regarding the job change. I really appreciate your thoughts!

Very funny website
1) I admit that I probably have too much free time. I spend some of it on the internet.
2) I have an unusual sense of humor. A lot of things crack me up that make most people just sigh or groan.
It is with these two personal statements that I offer you a VERY FUNNY website (by my standards). It is maintained by a man in England and called:
Things my girlfriend and I have argued about
And –while I don't really care for the pictures of his girlfriend– I can't stop laughing when I read his site. Enjoy!

High School Reunion
My high school reunion was this past weekend. It's a little hard to believe that 10 years have gone by. I was wanting to go, but things just didn't work out with my new promotion and our two other planned trips to Florida this year. I got the "Memory Book" in the mail today.
I guess the best part about looking back on high school is that you remember the people who meant the most to you then. After reading the names, I can safely say that there are probably two dozen that even ring a bell. Yet, at the time, I could probably ID at least 100 people on site. Wierd.
Looking back on high school, I certainly miss my friends. And, if any of you are stopping by to read my this, please be so kind as to shoot me an email now and then.

Keith Fulton Arrested??
First, I don't know if this is our Keith Fulton or not. Second, I think this is a little off-color.
However, if you ABSOLUTELY have to know all the details, click here: KEITH FULTON/S-TX/FORT WORTH and enjoy.

Sopranos Sounds
For those of you who are (like me) in Sopranos withdrawal, I found this sound generator to play with. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Sopranos, it is probably rated "R", so be warned.
